The project “Integrating Innovation and Promoting Cluster Organization in WOMen Enterprises” –ICON WOMEN ”with the acronym“ ICONWOM-EN ”is implemented in the framework of the European Territorial Cooperation Program INTERREG VA Greece-Italy 2014-2020, led by the General Secretariat for Demography and Family Policy and Gender Equality and partners West Region Of Greece (GR), the Corfu Chamber, the National Confederation of Crafts and Small and Medium Enterprises of Bari, the Municipality of Maglie.

Women’s entrepreneurship has been recognized during the last two decades as an important untapped source of economic growth. Women entrepreneurs create new jobs for themselves and others and by being different also provide society with different solutions to management, organization and business problems as well as to the exploitation of entrepreneurial opportunities.
